According to regulation, lands purchased for the sole purpose of obtaining landowner tags shall be ineligible

Nebraska Landowner Tag Basics:

Landowner tags available only for deer, elk, pronghorn and turkey

Qualifying lands must be owned or leased for agricultural purposes, hunting leases do not qualify

Resident qualifying landowners must own or lease at least 80 acres to qualify for deer and pronghorn tags, 320 acres for elk.

Non-resident qualifying landowners must own or lease at least 320 acres to qualify for deer and pronghorn tags, 1,280 acres for elk.
